Phase 1: History & Exam

After the New Patient paperwork has been completed our doctors will review your health history with you as well as your current complaints to make sure you’re in the right place for care.  After that, we will perform a thorough chiropractic exam which includes orthopedic & neurological testing, movement assessments to assess your range of motion, and motion palpation of the spine to determine where your restrictions are coming from.

Phase 2: Personalized Treatment Plan

After your exam, our doctors will present their findings to you on the same day.  If a referral or imaging isn’t necessary we will recommend what we feel is going to be the best plan for YOU.  Every patient is different and requires different forms and lengths of treatment.  We believe in individualized care with treatments that are specific to each of our patient’s needs.  The decision to go forward with a treatment plan is a mutual decision between our doctors and patients.  We are here to meet you where you’re at.  This is a team effort and our doctors will recommend exercises and lifestyle modifications for our patients to perform at home to help speed up the healing process.  Together we make goals for our patients and measure those goals throughout the course of care.  A typical care plan lasts anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on the severity of the condition we’re treating.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

After the patient has completed their care plan many will include regular chiropractic care in their wellness journey.  This is not a requirement, but many active patients see the value in regular wellness adjustments to keep their bodies functioning at optimal levels to help support their active lifestyles.  The typical frequency of somebody that comes in for wellness/maintenance adjustments is every 4-6 weeks depending on their current activity level.  Somebody training for an Iron Man competition might come in more frequently than somebody working at a desk all day.
