Dr. Tyler Armstrong, DC – Sports & Functional Chiropractor in Sioux Center, IA
Dr. Tyler Armstrong is a second-generation chiropractor and native of Sioux Center, Iowa, dedicated to helping patients across northwest Iowa move better, feel better, and live pain-free. With over a decade of clinical experience, he has helped thousands of patients—from athletes and active families to those with chronic pain—achieve lasting recovery and improved performance. Raised in a chiropractic family, he witnessed firsthand the transformative benefits of chiropractic care, fueling his lifelong passion for health, wellness, athletic performance, and root-cause pain resolution.
Dr. Tyler earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College-Kansas City (CCC-KC), with a focus on sports injuries, family wellness, functional assessment, soft-tissue mobilization, and rehabilitation. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Morningside College in Sioux City, IA, where he contributed to the men’s basketball team that secured GPAC regular-season championships in 2007–2008 and 2008–2009 seasons.

He previously completed certification in Active Release Techniques® (ART®) more than 10 years ago, gaining in-depth knowledge of soft-tissue protocols that continue to inform his current approach to similar conditions using complementary techniques.
Nationally board-certified in chiropractic and physiotherapy, Dr. Tyler is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Iowa Chiropractic Society. He was selected as a practitioner for the 2014 CrossFit Regionals in Jacksonville, Florida; graduated from Leadership Sioux Center in 2015; co-founded Move Functional Fitness in 2024 (a clinic-directed gym bridging rehab to long-term functional strength and wellness); and was named to the 2025 Northwest Iowa 20 Under 40 class by the N'West Iowa Review, recognizing his leadership in expanding Sioux Center Chiropractic Wellness Center and advancing community health.
Dr. Tyler carries forward the legacy of excellence started by his father, the late Dr. Larry Armstrong, who founded Sioux Center Chiropractic Wellness Center in 2000 (building on his earlier practice roots in the area since 1985). Today, Dr. Tyler leads the clinic alongside his wife, Dr. Tiffany, providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for every stage of life—from infants and pregnant women to senior citizens, weekend warriors, and competitive athletes. He excels in treating:
